Manitoulin Rides

An earlier version of this blog was called Manitoulin Rides. It was intended to serve as a Manitoulin ride-sharing board (an idea started by Sarah Hutchinson back in 2007). Late in 2008, after meeting with a few friends to talk over the prospects of a breakdown in the global economic system, Gary Fuhrman and Pam Jackson of gnusystems decided to broaden its focus. But we can still use it to promote ride-sharing and carpooling. This can be an important part of the transportation system on Manitoulin – it saves money and reduces our ecological footprint too.
